With so many hairstyles out there from braids, weaves, crochet styles, color, balayage, short hair, long hair, curly and straight hair, what's trending to what's making a comeback.
The question is....... which is right for you? Will you like it after you've changed it? Do you want a completely different look or do you just want a twist to your already fabulous hair?
Here are some things to consider when choosing a hairstyle.
Whether oval, round, long, square, heart or diamond the shape of your face determines what styles look best on you. From length to layers vs. a blunt cut, facial shape plays a big role so be sure to consider this when choosing your next hairstyle.
Your lifestyle really does affect what hairstyle will work best for you. Maintaining your hair can be difficult if you work out daily but have a blow out so ask yourself a few questions before jumping into your next look. Do you like styling your hair in the morning? Are you willing to do what it takes to maintain the hairstyle (if the color fades or if the short style grows out too fast)?
Some career paths require a certain type of hairstyle and you should take this into account before choosing your next style. Are you a surgeon and always need to cover your hair for work or a lawyer and have to maintain a clean simple style to maintain professionalism? Are you a supermodel that has to have the same hairstyle so designers know how to choose from models with a specific look, or a hairstylist that doesn't care and is willing to try anything?
What are you working with?
with today's hair technology, many magical things can be done with hair and styles but you still have to consider what you're starting with to start. How long is your hai? Is it healthy? What type of texture do you have? These things all play an important role in determining what style is best for you.
